Radish taken regularly is very good for the stomach.
Cut radish to small pieces, fry it in oil till it becomes brownish, add salt, asafetida n saffron powder n water n allow to boil.
Take this along with meals regularly to clear constipation.

Soaking guava fruit in boiling water n eating it in the morning is also good for clearing constipaton n piles.

Although they can be related I still think that they are 2 different ailments with different solutions.

Personally I think apple or prune juice work pretty good. A super combination of prune juice , applesauce and unprocessed wheat bran will make you run for the toilet in case of constipation...(tested and approved Grin

)
